GAIA makes contract management easier for legal teams. Our AI-powered platform helps legal departments digitize, structure and keep track of their contracts. The product is young and evolving fast – and you can help shape it.

We are currently moving our customers from our previous platform to the new tool. For this, we are looking for someone with a legal background who is excited to experience the digital transformation of the legal industry up close.

What you'll do

• Transfer customer contracts from our previous platform, clean up and enrich metadata, set up workflows based on templates and document any issues.
• Sort and structure our customers' contracts and support their legal teams in digitizing their contract management.
• Draft and test prompts for our AI-powered contract review and report errors and patterns to our tech team.
• Support trial phases for new customers: set up trial workspaces, upload sample contracts, prepare onboarding sessions and keep an eye on usage.

What you bring

• You are studying Business Law (LL.B./LL.M.) or Law (Staatsexamen), ideally from around your 4th or 5th semester.
• You have a solid understanding of contract law. Familiarity with common contract types such as NDAs, SaaS agreements or data processing agreements (DPAs), as well as standard terms and conditions, is a plus.
• You work accurately and in a structured way, and you'd rather ask than guess.
• You are reliable, including during exam periods, and communicate proactively when things get tight.
• You are fluent in German and English.
• You can commit to at least 12 months.

No prior work experience required.

Nice to have

• Interest in legal tech and first experience with AI tools or prompting, ideally also with CRM tools
• Comfortable working with data and structured tools
