About GAIA
GAIA is the AI-powered Legal Operating System designed to revolutionize how SMEs and fast-growing startups manage their legal workflows. From automated contract drafting to AI-driven compliance and equity management, we are eliminating legal complexity and transforming in-house law into a strategic growth asset.
We are a Seed/Series A stage team based in the heart of Berlin. We are looking for a high-energy, resilient, and structured Junior Account Executive to join our mission of democratizing legal knowledge. This is a full-cycle sales role from day one — you'll own the entire pipeline from first touch to closed deal.
The Role
As our Junior Account Executive, you will drive new business across our SMB/Mid-Market segment. You'll be responsible for the full sales cycle: sourcing and engaging prospects, running discovery and demos, and closing deals.
You'll start with a heavy focus on building your own pipeline through outbound. As you ramp, you'll spend more and more of your time running demos, managing opportunities, and closing — with full ownership of your deals from the start.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting: Own the front end of the sales funnel through cold calling, personalized email sequences, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Strategic Sourcing: Use Clay and other tools to identify high-fit accounts within our ICP (Legaltech, Fintech, SaaS).
- Discovery: Conduct high-level discovery calls to qualify leads and understand the complex legal pain points of modern businesses.
- CRM Hygiene: Maintain a pristine Hubspot database, ensuring all activities and lead data are accurately tracked.
- Tech Stack Mastery: Leverage our modern sales stack (Hubspot, Lemlist, Clay) to automate and scale your outreach without losing the human touch.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 1–3 years of sales experience (B2B SaaS preferred). While you don't need closing experience yet, you must have a hunger to learn.
- Communication: You are a native or fluent English speaker with world-class verbal and written communication skills. You can explain complex AI/Legal products simply.
- Work Ethic: You have a "founder’s mindset." You are self-motivated, resilient in the face of "no," and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Structured Approach: You are highly organized and follow a repeatable process to manage your pipeline.
- Language: English is mandatory. German is a significant "nice-to-have."
